The Community Visitors Scheme is constantly adapting and digital visits are great if an aged care home is not available or a recipient/volunteer lives in a rural or remote area

Digital CVS

Sometimes it is just not possible for a volunteer to visit someone face to face.  In these times, we encourage people to try digital visiting!  Digital visiting connects friends via video chat applications such as Facebook messenger or Skype.  We can provide select aged care homes with tablets to facilitate digital visits, as long as the facilities have access to wifi.

Digital visits have seen great success during times when an aged care home is locked down or a recipient/volunteer comes from a rural or remote area.

If you would like more information about the program, or your facility has been loaned a tablet for use contact us at digital@qccn.org.au or call 3379 7200
