Digital CVS

Sometimes it is just not possible for a volunteer to visit someone face to face.  In these times, we encourage people to try digital visiting!  Digital visiting connects friends via video chat applications such as Facebook messenger or Skype.  We can provide select aged care homes with tablets to facilitate digital visits, as long as the facilities have access to wifi.

Digital visits have seen great success during times when an aged care home is locked down or a recipient/volunteer comes from a rural or remote area.

About the QCCN

Queensland Community Care Network Inc. (QCCN) is a Queensland based not for profit organisation. We run a number of programs all focused on combating social isolation with the aged community. Our main program is the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme, where we manage a volunteer program of people visiting elderly people who live in residential care.
